Welcome to Branches!
My name is Kasey and I am currently a graduate student in a two-year degree for Christian Formation and Ministry. If this doesn’t really make sense, think of my program as a Master’s in Higher Education.
I am married to my wonderful husband, Tim. We so desperately want a dog, and we love sharing a good cup of coffee (or glass of wine), watching Chef’s Table and going on adventures (preferably in the mountains).
I am a retired-irish-dancer, wanna-be mystic and very driven by my emotions.
On this blog you will find my reflections on a variety of life experiences. Whether it’s about current life musings, reflections on my marriage, my struggle with anxiety and depression or about my Christian walk with Christ, my hope is that you would be encouraged to seek the Father along with me.
Be aware that I am a person in process, just as you are. I hope that we can learn together, but I cannot promise that I will always be right. In fact, I can pretty much promise that I will be wrong, possibly in multiple ways. This does not mean that I am not convicted and firm in my beliefs, but I must recognize that I will fail. I am not perfect, and I don’t want this blog to be a pedestal for the “good Christians,” but rather, I hope for it to hold real, honest reflections on the positive and negative, joyful and sorrowful. God is present always in every way and in everything, and I hope this blog continues to point to the Good, Good Father.
